SUSTAINABLE APIARY FROM SUMATRA. Health Harvest brings you this pure rainforest honey from our sustainable apiaries located in the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra. The biodiversity found in this tropical region allows sustainable honey harvesting year-round. Apis Mellifera crafts this honey by foraging diversified rainforest flower blooming in the lowland evergreen rainforest, giving birth to a high quality unique flavoured rainforest honey.
RAW BY HANDCRAFT. This rainforest honey is extracted by handcraft with utmost concern for the wellbeing and sustainability of Apis Mellifera. Without the use of pesticides and antibiotics, the honey is in its raw authentic state and never subject to heating or any other processing. Raw honey is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, contains live enymes, bee pollen, and propolis, and may crystallize slowly after harvesting, as a sign of its purity and authenticity.
MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS. Featuring dark amber color and robust flavour, rainforest honey from tropical region has lower glycemic index than other honey, being a perfect alternative to artificial sweetener for health conscious people. It is best paired with: on its own, tea, juice and smoothies, yogurt, salad, toast and pancake, and breakfast oats, or incorporating into daily cuisine recipes.

DOSAGE:
- 2-4 teaspoons daily for maintenance or daily recipes
EATING TIPS:
- Not recommended for infants under age of 1 year old or people with allergy to honey. Diabetics need to adjust the dosage according to their health condition.
- Raw honey crystalises gradually if storage under 55°F/13°C for 2-3 months. Please put the crystalised honey jar in hot water (around 175°F/80°C) for 15 minutes to soften.
NOTICE:
- Raw honey contains bee pollen, honeycomb bits, propolis, broken bee wing fragments and bioactive compounds, which may give rise to particles, flecks, crystalisation, honey bubble, opening pop sound and slight leakage. These are normal conditions and safe for consumption.
- Honey jars are inevitably shaken during transportation which will cause a thick layer of honey foam appearing on the honey surface upon arrival. This is a common phenomenon for active raw honey. Please rest the honey jar overnight and the honey foam will substantially disappear.
